Plot Summary:1920, rural Ireland. Anglo Irish twins Rachel and Edward share a strange existence in their crumbling family estate. Each night, the property becomes the domain of a sinister presence (The Lodgers) which enforces three rules upon the twins: they must be in bed by midnight; they may not permit an outsider past the threshold; if one attempts to escape, the life of the other is placed in jeopardy. When troubled war veteran Sean returns to the nearby village, he is immediately drawn to the mysterious Rachel, who in turn begins to break the rules set out by The Lodgers. The consequences pull Rachel into a deadly confrontation with her brother - and with the curse that haunts them.

看的我都快睡着了，女主确实漂亮

有点意思，像是讲水面的浮游植物的片子。过于潮湿阴冷，一切都染上了斑渍，泛黄发霉的，宅子底下巨大湖泊，里面像鱼一样的死人。
3星，故事一般情节简单，关键是不吓人所以刚开始觉得不太好看，但细琢磨起来又出了一身冷汗，现在家里催婚，催生的情况太多了，好像单身就有罪一样，不生孩子就对不起列祖列宗，刚成年就逼命似的逼结婚逼生孩子，这真的是魔鬼才干的事情。影片里女主还要面临破产，这经济还不好，怎么生啊，压力山大啊有木有。难怪女主总是装酷，穿着哥特装， 还要考虑血统纯不纯的问题，想想就浑身发冷啊，心都凉了，冷的睡觉盖上了被子。
古老的建筑，古老的诅咒，漂亮的如同吸血鬼的姐弟恋，还有每次出场都不穿衣服身材极佳的鬼们，画面真的很好看，剧情一般，大概就是近亲结婚的家庭，生了下一对姐弟俩后都会跳河自杀，姐姐不想再近亲结婚了，看上了隔壁村夫的肉体，于是把那个男的坑来当替罪羊，自己溜了
